A holiday in history at beautiful Jones' Falls where you will visit
a fully operating 150 year old blacksmith's shop, the museum which carries

the Rideau Canal; the famous swimming hole, where the young and the

into the deep blue bay. Then you must see the fish sanctuary and climb
to the old power house. This is the stuff fond memories are made of!

terrace dining cafes, or join the gang in one of the best country and western

Spend
a day or many at wonderful Chaffey's Locks. A village from the fond memories
of our younger days! Tall maples and oak trees arch over the narrow streets,
quaint little shops, a fabulous and cosy little restaurant that serves
the real catch of the day and a century old lodge which has greeted many
a statesman. Then sleep in the comfort of your luxurious boat to the gurgle
of the waterfall. Wake up the next morning to the splash of bass and the
call of the loon. If you're lucky, a Great Blue Heron may be up on the
roof of the Old Mill by the brook... a truly unforgettable experience.
Dock at the foot of the Parliament Buildings right in the heart of Ottawa.
Dress up for the opera, a play or a symphony. On the other bank, you'll
find a genuine British pub with the real ales, and darts! Stroll a few
blocks to the Market area, the "in" spot for exotic outdoor restaurants,
street minstrels and artists, or just for a pleasant tour. You're sure
to find something you like.
While in Ottawa, take in the National Gallery and the Museum of Civilization.
Both buildings are among the most beautiful of the 20th Century. The Gallery's
collection ranks among the world's finest.
You will experience the famous Eastern Ontario hospitality at any of
the hundreds of outstanding restaurants, antique shops, cultural events
or the
many village activities on the scenic shores of the Rideau.
Anchor in your own little corner of Paradise during daylight hours and
catch your own meal. The many lakes, rivers and streams of the Rideau are
a true fisherman's dream. Once you've had your fill of delicious perch,
